Just a glimpse of our action-packed weekend…
- Portland Oregon Temple: being on the grounds is indescribable. But I’ll try anyways to capture some of the feelings I have there every time I go: peace, love, calm, gratitude, hope.
- Amy and I decided with a third child coming, it’s time to invest in a car with three rows. This has been a long time coming too, since it’s the first vehicle we bought for Amy in our marriage. This is her baby now. #5, if you include our tiny dog Rose (we do 🐶). The car is a #highlander.
- A classic Toyota I saw on the Wilsonville Toyota showroom floor. The dash was just so inviting.
- We went to the Oregon Zoo ! Putting in worth to the membership we renewed back in November. We love the zoo so much and so do the kids! Fresh air, exercise, wholesome family time, maybe an elephant ear or two, and Alyssa is even starting to notice the animals! So exciting and so much fun!
On top of this, we assembled our second Ikea table, giving us a perfect flexible arrangement in our apartment for family dinners or entertaining, we watched Music and the Spoken Word with Bryce, and attended church at the Church of Jesus Christ with so many friends. I even managed to get in 2 hours of exercise (yoga, stretches, and cycling).
